Using the resourcefulness of Grenadians overseas for national development


Toronto, Canada, June 22, 2010 – A senior Grenada Government minister wants greater use made of the talent and skills of nationals living abroad.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Peter David, told Grenadians in Toronto last weekend that with the pool of skilled and “resourceful Grenadians’’ in the Diaspora, contracts should be offered to them to return home and help develop Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Former St. Lucia PM to visit Grenada


St. George’s, June 28, 2010– Former St. Lucia Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny Anthony, is to visit Grenada next month. The head of the St. Lucia Labour Party, Dr. Anthony is now Leader of the Opposition in Parliament.

Hindsey School Graduation


St. George’s, July 6, 2010 – The top student of the St. George’s Anglican Senior School in this year’s Common Entrance Examinations (CEE) will receive a brand new lap top computer as a prize reward.

Khalil Buckmire’s 127.23 CEE score placed him fifth overall in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. His score was just .53 behind the best performer in the national exam, Keline Peters of Beacon Junior School.
